Some facts about Freedom

Yesterday was the 4th of July, Independence Day or as little Pumpkin says when he sees an American flag, "our coun-tys birthday!" So I saw this quote on another blog and couldn't resist sharing it. It is so, so true. Read it, think about it, and think about how our freedom was gained. Then make the choice to do everything you can to preserve freedom for the next generation and generations to come!

We had a quiet 4th of July this year, after Pumpkin's nap we went out and threw "poppers" because he LOVES those things and then went to my sister's for supper. There is a burn ban, so we didn't shoot any fireworks off, but we did see some from town 25 miles away when we came home!
